Erin premiered her White Series in 2006, a body of work which represents a two-year study of illusory contours. Her paintings evolve as layers of blended colors, specifically neutral, earth tones and white negative space combine to create an environment of natural depth then flattened as if on a slide in a microscope. Utilizing these specific tools, a world which is protected and untouched, yet inviting, develops.

Also Included in this selection is The Coming of Man Series. Within this body of work icons of man and characters have developed. The landscapes of The White Series evolved as the once pristine world has been intoduced to characters with abilities to discern their environment and the objects within it. They make judgements and become variables effecting their surroundings.
